The weatherman got it wrong!

Today was supposed to be dry .... with some sunny intervals ...... wrong!

We did see the odd patch of blue ....... but most of the sky was covered in dark clouds! Just as we set out this afternoon it began to rain!

So ..... change of plan as it was also freezing cold ..... we had a ride out to Swineshead (a village nearby) ...... went to the churchyard to see the Snowdrops ..... the old part of the graveyard was almost completely carpeted with them ........ wonderful sight :-)

A patch of blue appeared briefly behind the church ..... so took this photo ...... needless to say a short while after this it started raining again!

The Extra is a small door in the side of the church ....... it looked almost like a pixie door!
