Lottery Win

Good start to the day when I opened my mail this morning to find I'd won a prize in the Lottery!!  However, I'm afraid I won't be treating you all to champagne to celebrate, as the sum total of my winnings is £5:-)  A very pleasant surprise anyway!

A visit north to look at a potential new house for us, but have come home feeling very confused.  The location is unique and the house is lovely, but it would need a lot of changes to bring it up to the standard we'd like and I'm not sure we are ready to start all over again from the beginning. There is going to be some serious thinking done over the next few days!

A dull, but pleasant day today with no hint of the very cold weather coming our way overnight.  We may even wake up to more snow tomorrow:-)  Winter has not finished with us yet.
