Meeting up with family

Took Jonty out this morning and was closely followed by Joanne and Dhylan on their way to school. Lennon was at home, he was ill yesterday with a terribly high temperature.
When they went off one way we went another to go to the park. Coming out of the park we crossed the road to the footpath towards the Barnwood Arboretum and there were Joanne and Dhylan in the distance.
Jonty perked up, his ears picked up (although they don't go erect as he's a Bichon!) and when I said "It's Joanne and Dhylan" he took off down the path as if he was after a pussy cat (but don't say Pussy Cat out loud or he jumps on the windowsill and barks like mad).
