Receipt

Ever since reports of people being wrongly sent Congestion Charge bills and them having to prove they were elsewhere at the time I have hung on to receipts and similar paper records of my movements.

I keep them for a year dumping the previous year's receipts as I file the new ones.  I did an update of this today and reflected that I've a lot fewer of these than I used to have.  I seem to be buying much less these days or, at least, making far fewer shopping trips (which isn't quite the same thing).
