I had one removed from my gob this morning and to put it mildly it fucking kills. To be honest I'd grown fairly fond of the thing having had it since about 1984 but the dentist decided it was a risk so out it came and off it went for biopsy. The gauze was presented in case of bleeding but judging by the amount of laser cauterisation that went on, that's a remote possibility. I do now know however, that I smell delicious when burning.
