Hey!

I watched the bird on the left as it was fussing over some piece of food, shaking it's head around and trying to get a good grip on the morsel, when suddenly there was a squawk and a flap and egret #2 took over. All gone food! The birds remained together afterward, which seemed strange since they usually seem to forage alone. So many birds, so many mysteries...

A gorgeous day on the beach. I've heard this time being called Juneuary. Very cute and very scary. Somewhere I saw that it might rain on Valentine's Day, which is pretty far away.
