Mantis After Rain

When the rain stopped I went out to see what was about, but apart from a tiny red-eyed fly, I saw only praying mantises. They perched around in the wet optimistically hoping for a catch. This nymph was on the curry plant. She has a big blob of water between her front legs and another under her hind legs. Not only that, but one of her middle legs is refracted in a droplet.
