district court

One of the reasons for spending a couple of days in Perth was to attend the District Court with S and to listen to the closing summations for the prosecution and defense in a murder trial here in Perth.
A curious way...to say nothing of voyeuristic...it may seem. My friend S and I have an interest in forensic science having studied such for a some time at uni and we both know people giving evidence on both sides on this case.
Ultimately, a woman has been murdered, two daughters now have no mother, two families are torn apart and nothing can make that well again.
