Thai Art de Vivre

Controlled simplicity can be a source of artistic beauty. The Thais are fundamentally good at expressing this oriental value.
What makes today's blip an expression of Thai art is first its color. It would be red in the Chinese culture and probably black according to the Japanese. The second element lies in the shape of the window. Here, it has a square shape having what looks like 9 bars. This is a heritage of the Hindu culture of southeast Asia. Both in China and in Japan, the window would be different.
The square symbolizes terrestrial values whereas the vase is a representation of spirituality. The round shape of the vase is made of wood with a row of silver metal volutes. The twigs are twisted ending with a golden lotus, a sacred flower. The curves of the arrangement bear a spiritual value, typical of Eastern Art.
