SPIKEY

....and/or prickly..........I visited my friend, Marie, in hospital today, she's broken her upper arm and very badly at that.  I think she's in a prickly sticky situation.  They need to operate, however, she has been rather unwell with the painkillers and the operation to repair her arm has been put back.  Not good when you are 70 years young.   

This is my entry in today's Spikey Tiny Tuesday challenge - I thought it might have been a prickly pear but upon googling it isn't spikey enough.  The spikes were only on these golf ball size bobbles on the edge of the leaves and the leaves weren't that spikey either.  Maybe someone in blipland might know what it might be.  Thank you so much to mindful_life for hosting this month's Tiny Tuesday's Challenge.
