Lunch

This morning we visited the busy floating market at Can Tho. I was told that many floating markets are shrinking or disappearing, as road transport begins to take over, but this is a big and active wholesale market.  It opens very early in the morning (rather like the activities in the town - I was woken at 4.45am this morning by traffic noise, horns and people shouting) so we got out fairly early (around 7.30am) to catch a boat around the market.  Plenty to photograph: this is one of the market vendors taking a break to eat.

Later we travelled via a crocodile farm to Chau Doc near the Cambodian border.  We travel up river tomorrow to Phnomh Penh.
