Tiny Tuesday...Spiky

I set out on my walk this morning, on the lookout for something spiky, or spikey, depending on your preferred spelling. The obvious choice would have be a cactus, plenty of them around, but I was very happy when I found this shrub, a variety of Euphorbia, also known as Crown of Thorns..... reminded me of a wild rose with it's vicious looking, spiky thorns. Decided also to make a collage for the Experimental Photography challenge. Thanks to mindful_life and Marcus Hediger for hosting.
A grey start to the day again, but mild 18C, and blue sky by 9.30 :)
