Gone but not forgotten

This afternoon we had a 'Keep Oban Beautiful' meeting at a member's house. Although it's easy to drive round by road, it's much shorter to walk by way of what was the drive into the County Hospital before it was sold off and lots of grand houses built on it.  My friend's top gate is just beside the street lamp - lots of steps down to her house.

This is the North Lodge - the South Lodge has long gone. You can see what it was like from my extra. It would have been just opposite my house.
