Westmoreland Way Part 8

Scout Scar to Crooklands via the river Kent and the Lancaster Canal. Snowed most of the morning but after some consternation about whether the walk should go ahead 9 brave souls set off from the car park at Scout Scar. Three miles in we had a pit stop at the Riverside Cafe in Kendal which serves sumptuous cakes and huge pots of tea. By lunch time the sun was trying to break through though never quite made it. The blip is the river Kent from Hawes Bridge. General snowy view in extras.
