North Berwick
Looking across to Craigleith (one of the islands in the Firth of Forth) from the western of the two beaches on North Berwick. Glorious blue skies, and it almost felt warm with the sun on our backs.
I normally take solace from being outside. Feeling so small and insignificant under such huge skies puts things into perspective I find. This photo turns that on its head: my shadow looks huge, with the island looking tiny in comparison. In a world in which everything seems topsy turby a lot of the time at the moment, this made me think.
