Unfrozen assets

We woke this morning to pools of water on the utility room floor - the freezer had packed up. Everything inside had thawed but was still very cold so all was not lost. Normouse cooked a vast chicken casserole which included masses of frozen vegetables. I used two packs of turkey cubes and some frozen puff pastry to make turkey and mushroom pies. When all this has cooled it can go into a very ancient (thank you Gwen!) freezer that lives in the shed. Sadly several boxes of cooked food went into the food bin, but a small loss really.

New freezer ordered and will arrive tomorrow afternoon.
