..............fairly straight road. It does wind a bit further on but not enough to write a song about. It does however resemble a fairground ride in places and the trick is to remember which hump leads to take off and a sore head as you leave your seat.

It cuts across Plenmeller Common on route to Haltwhistle from Allendale. On a clear day like today the views are stunning in all directions. Miles and miles of nothing. I love it.
