A Visitor

This morning I refreshed the bird feeders. As the birds started to arrive so did this visiting cat from along the road. I don't know her name but she is very pretty. Luckily she wasn't a very effective hunter. 
 
The day has been spent in observing Piagetian stages of development with the toddler. It's been conservation of volume today with play doh.  Fascinating to see how a wee one works it all out. Play doh everywhere needless to say. 
 
In case anyone thinks I might have repeated my epic 10.5 hour sleep last night let me tell you that I didn't. And I probably won't.
