Lovely day for digging a hole

1st job today was to get all of the old staples out of the bedroom floor ready for new carpet fitting on Thursday. Afterwards I cleaned the big UPVC window frame which was very dusty & grubby. Then I vacuumed. the floor. ...so we are ready.

After lunch we went down to Next to collect new curtains & bedding & I bought a new curtain pole in Dunelm. Home then which was more than enough for C who was done in after that. She is coughing well & is feeling very tired....hope she feels a bit better soon.

Tonight I have thrown together a beef stew & I'm just about to eat it with a Jacket spud & plenty of veg.
