WILD RIVER
The waterfall of the river Diemel in Helmarshausen
A slow start of the day. Phonecall of Mischa, and we talked about her illustrations of the fairy tale she is working at.
Feeding the birds, removing the ice from their bowl and pouring water in it. Following the news.
In the afternoon we drove to the Diemel, the path through the meadow was blocked. And the Sonnenweg (sunny path) we could walk still quite a while, then there was a warning over the whole width of the path, that they were cutting trees, and there was danger of life because of it.
We ignored the signal and walked further till we came to a point where the path was blocked by an enormous tree, and then we returned.
The sun was shining, and that is why we drove to Helmarshausen for a walk there on the dyke along the river. Despite the sunshine it was terribly cold.
My entry for the Wild Wednesday Challenge. Huge thanks to Cailleach for hosting.
