Golden

A day to be savoured. Cold and sunny. The long hazel catkins hung plentifully and drew the eye in the otherwise bare woodland. Today they shimmered in the sunlight. Great tits and blue tits sensing the nearness of spring, hopped happily from branch to branch.

In other news, the replacement for our broken 1940s water pipe has been sourced and fitted, so tomorrow at work we should have running water and functioning toilets - hooray!
