Snowdrops

Today I ventured down the bottom of our very steep garden to collect some snowdrops. Every year I spot them in the undergrowth, but last year we cleared lots so I can actually get at them. As it’s not a part of the garden that we can see from the house I decided to cut some and bring them in. They were all closed up when I brought them in, within a couple of hours they’d opened up completely showing off a lovely wee green detail. I would never have looked at them this close if I hadn’t picked them. Mind you, I see why they’ve never taken off as cut flowers - you have to be super gentle with them. They do look lovely in my wee bluetit jug tho - this photo will be used on my work social media.
C was back at school today and seems well again. D was at swimming tonight but didn’t want to go to cubs. He came home for a cuddle and chat instead. Stuff had been bothering him, it’s nice when he feels he can have a cuddle and a chat about it. He so often bottles stuff up and it bursts out at random times.
My legs are still too sore to be touched - boy that massage was deep! A reckons my pain threshold is too high so he’s able to do more than he should in a massage, I suspect my muscles were just big knots that needed seeing to. My knee is still too sore to walk far tho :-(
