3rd day of our Honeymoon...

On the way to Fort Augustus we stopped off at the Commando Memorial at Spean Bridge. It is a beautiful place and has a special atmosphere, defiantly worth a visit. On arriving at Fort Augustus we decided to have an ice cream before walking up the locks that link loch Ness to loch Oich. I got a lovely dragon mirror at one of the wee souvenir shops. We had a lovely walk down to loch ness and back to the car before heading off to the Dog Falls. We went for a lovely walk to the Dog Falls before heading to Inverness . I got a bit stressed out driving around Inverness as i did not know the roads that well or what lane to be in. For dinner we treated ourselves to a burger king after getting the car washed. We watched The Dark Knight Rises at the cinema, Mike made a right mess with his ice cream and I couldn't finish my popcorn. Posted Mike's Gran's post card at Inverness.
