So far as birthdays go I did not have the best day lined up, moving all the furniture from storage using a 'Man with a Van' service. At £80 an hour I wondered how long it would take to get a garage full of furniture and boxes moved but when they turned up it was a van with 3 men and they worked extremely quickly, Wallyford to Edinburgh in just over 1 hour and neither me nor Jen had to do anything. Now the flat is full of furniture we just have to organise it.

Met up with Seoirse in the City Cafe between 5:30 and 9 for a bit of a break and some cheap Krusovice before heading back home with the intention of showering and heading back out. The shower never happened though and we went down to Leith to The Pond for a couple of Schofferhofer, Jen picking up the midweek scrumpy theme with Addlestone's.

Eventually stumbled home to watch Chocolate, a birthday gift. After a slow start the action began and it was like a classic Jackie Chan movie, there was even the accidents and injuries over the closing credits.
