Choices
Every midday we decide where to eat--go back to our favorite Thali place, or try something new? Today we had Thai food at a 4-table place just off the sidewalk called Mini Wok. Other choices: after lunch, should we nap? write a bit? read?
The big yoga choice, of course, is what to practice. Today I practiced Eka Pada Sirsasana (putting your foot behind your head) with two other students. None of us pushed on each other! We all got good insights from yet another student practicing near us who insisted that the pose be done with softness and release. The open practice time is generally a very sharing environment.
The other big choice is what to do next week: go to the special Prashant workshop, Mon-Sat, 9-12 + 4-6, or stay and take classes at the Institute and have open practice time. Or, for the indecisive, do some of both.
