Reformed Church

I went for a wander this afternoon and came down Breadalbane Street, past the Argyllshire Gathering Halls, and was accosted by a friend who was buying a parking ticket for his van. I asked him when the Gathering Halls were built, but he didn't know; he told me instead about the one-time church that stands on the corner, minus its steeple, and now a backpackers' hostel, with bits built on including a computer repair shop and a hairdresser. He took me inside the hostel to show me the picture in the hall of the United Free Church as it used to be - this is one of my extras today. The other extra is of the rather unusual staircase inside!
