Eiffel Ghost

Captured through the screens of the Quai Branly museum on the the left bank of the still-flooded Seine in Paris. We visited it for two exhibitions: "Paintings from Afar", and "Before the Incas in Peru".  The latter was marvelous: wonderful small ceramic artifacts depicting mostly people, and a smaller number of animals and birds. The paintings were European, "revealing the evolution of the Western perception of distant and not-so-distant populations, societies and territories", starting in the late 18th century--of historical interest but not inspiring from a modern perspective.
