I hadn't ever noticed this artwork in the Scottish Parliament. Really interesting.

Its called Psalmsong - the notes of Psalmsong composed and performed by the artist, Alison Kinnaird, were fed into a computer to sample the sound waves. These produced the interlacing patterns that the artist engraved onto the glass panels. The patterns combine with the human figure to represent the emotion in the music.
