Did you see yesterday's Bang, Scrape, Ouch ?

This is my first attempt at Abstract Thursday.  The theme was patterns so I thought I would find one unique to the desert.  This is one of my barrel cactus. Unlike the cactus many people around the world grow in pots, this one grows in the ground as a native plant. I thought you might like the pattern of the ribs and needles. You can see the original in the extra.
The filter is on Pxlr is called "Hope". Lordy, I miss him.
