To commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012 the Bonnie Peebles Society commissioned Jim Whitson (The Blazing Blacksmith) to make the Salmon Seat.  It’s made with an oak seat and galvanised steel symbolising a salmon with stones added from the River Tweed which flows through Peebles.
