Treaty of Waitangi

The Treaty of Waitangi was signed between Maori Chiefs and the English for land which was paid for with guns and material wealth, and unfortunately - whether it is controversial or not - we are still paying for it with millions and millions of dollars paid to all the tribes who felt they were hard done by at the time.
