Wharariki Beach

Today we went to Wharariki beach, where I took this photo. We've never been here before, and it's so beautiful. We spent a good two hours walking across the sand, bare-foot, paddling in the water, and exploring the many caves and natural tunnels going through the huge rocks.

Then we travelled to Collingwood to have some lunch. After that we went to feed some tame eels, and met two lovely cats who live there.

Back to Takaka, and fish and chips for dinner. I think it will be a shower and an early night for me.

We're off to explore more beaches tomorrow.
