First Fly of 2018!

Dentist check-up this morning  -  all OK  -  go back for clean and polish on the 26th Feb. This fly must have got into the house when I opened the door to let myself in when I got home  -  I found it sitting on my kitchen window.  Difficult to photograph because the sun was shining brilliantly on the window and the sky was blue and cloudless as it's backdrop.  I liked the way that this showed it's legs and wings up blue.  I expect it came into my kitchen to get warm, because although the sun was shining it was VERY cold outside. I admit I did send it back out into the cold though!
