Incentive

A backlog of writing and photo processing tasks had built-up. I set myself a target to finish a number of these by 3 pm and then to go out for a walk in the chilly afternoon sunshine. That I succeeded and enjoyed the day, including a coffee at my favourite cafe, added to the warm glow of self-satisfaction.
