Paddy's Pole
I don't get to visit family as often as I used to so it's been nice to head up north for a long weekend starting Wednesday, though I worked from 'home' yesterday.
Today I went to visit my mum who spends most of her time nowadays in what she calls her 'lodge'. It's not that far from the Bowland Fells so I took the opportunity to go for a short run as the sun set, heading up Parlick Fell then north across the moor to Fair Snape Fell and Paddy's Pole which is the cairn you can see here.
It was really good to get out in the fells again, something I haven't done since last August and didn't it show, was hard work on the climb and cold on top.
