Carnaval - Antroxu

Decked out for Gijon's 'Antroxu' carnaval festivities. It's just like Rio de Janeiro really, except it's normally wet, only a few degrees above zero and scarves and gloves are the order of the day, apart that is for those often skimpily dressed in the procession. A hardy race these Asturians.

Monday night the floats will be out for the cavalcade and lots of people will be out enjoying themselves, whatever the weather.
