" JUST WALKING BY THE SEA"

As it was dry we took Phoebe for a walk.  Although the sun had been shining the wind made it feel so cold.

As you can see it wasn't busy!  The beach has changed beyond recognition and rocks are being uncovered which have been smothered in sand for years. 

We have found layers of what we think is quartz and I will share it with you when I can get a better capture.

Today (Saturday) it has been mizzling all day so far and Phoebe is looking very glum waiting to get outside for a walk.  Oh well looks like we are going to get soaked, again.  How I hate winter!!

The daffs and tulips are waiting to burst open.  The Lupins and Delphiniums are growing again and I'm sure the slugs and snails are looking forward to their first good feed!!
