Little Langdale

Visited Blea tarn today, but the tarn seemed pretty cloud-locked. Beautiful calm water (until owners kept throwing sticks for dogs to fetch!) gave the group some wonderful reflections. The exciting light was beyond the tarn, in little Langdale valley. I liked this tree hanging on to the rocky outcrop, and the sky behind it was helping enormously, although I did need a 0.9 soft-edged grad filter to cope with the contrast.

Ended the afternoon with a pint (half for me - I was driving) in the Old Dungeon Gill bar.
