Awesome adventutes

Spent the day watching films of amazing people doing amazing things - at the Edinburgh Mountain Film Festival. Some of the adventures were quite mad but all the participant showed such incredible determination and commitment - as well as skill.
The final session was a talk from Sara Outen who sailed, cycled and kayaked round the world. Gosh that was tough and she was very honest about the mental toll it took as well as the physical effort.
We sat and dreamed of our own little adventures and donated some money to the Mountain Rescue who were in attendance. I hope we never need them but good to know they are on hand. Even in Edinburgh it seems.
