It Rained!

Heading out first thing this morning. Currently our street pavements are being dug up to lay fibre optic cable. So far the contractors have been a right pain in the ****. Little consideration for residents, no prior warning of disruption and blocking roads at regular intervals with their vehicles.

This is the view from our drive, with their barriers on the other side of the road, making it impossible to reverse out onto the road without going back and forth a few times. With the lack of consideration shown by the company I doubt we’ll be taking advantage of the new service, despite the benefits of faster broadband. And from speaking to neighbours I get the impression we will be in good company.
