It's been a long day...

...travelling to the Canary Islands, hopefully for a week of R&R.

We arrived at Fuerteventura airport around 1545 and were first off the plane. One suitcase was first to reach the carousel. Was our luck in?  Not quite. Our second case took another half hour and arrived soaking wet, because there had been a shower in the interim. 

We reached our hotel around 5pm, in time for a short walk and fresh air. The blip shot on the way back shows another moody sky but no more rain.

Excellent early dinner followed by an early night.
