Two palm trees

Things caught up n me a bit today, and I ended up sleeping and sleeping and sleeping. So the camera got little or no use, except for this one quick shot near our place and a few others of even less interest.

The day ended well, though. We'd set out to try a restaurant which had been recommended by a friend back home who comes here fairly regularly. That place was closed, so we went across the road to another eatery we'd spotted a few times. This was Barbados, and turned out to be rather wonderful. I did better than Carl, with a lovely starter of mushroom and prawns, followed by an equally gorgeous main dish of hake in broth. Without a doubt, this was the best meal so far.
