Half way up the stairs

“Halfway down the stairs is a stair where I sit
There isn't any other stair quite like it
I'm not at the bottom, I'm not at the top
So this is the stair where I always stop…“

I realised yesterday that Leia seemed a bit under the weather. She still isn’t right today and was flinching and growling when I touched her back. One trip to the vet and £70 later - the vet isn’t entirely sure what’s wrong but confirmed Leia does seem to have hurt her back. She has had a painkiller injection with painkiller drops to take home and put in her food.

Back home and Leia decided half way up the stairs was the perfect place to curl up and feel sorry for herself. We were having to step over her each time we went up or down as she had no intention of moving!
