Trevor’s Dam

We went fishing at Trevor’s dam this morning. Trevor is a friend and neighbour of our friends dam. There is a bit of history with this dam as we have often fished here (unsuccessfully) and I once painted it and won a prize in a local art show here. The other girls stayed chatting with Gerda while I went with the boys to the dam. We tried spinners while we waited for some yabbies to use as bait. We only found one but it got us a small Redfin which we cut up for more bait. I caught 2 more small Redfin which we threw back. Hubby was disappointed as he only had a few tentative nibbles but no fish. We tried again after lunch but they weren’t biting and it started to rain.
