Bread
For most of the week we just have a normal amount of bread. On Saturday we go all out. The queue at the bread shop on Saturday is so long, that you really can't just buy a baguette. Today's delightful development was that they have changed their batard pointu so that instead of just points at each end they have slashed it so that the whole top is a series of fabulously crunchy points.
Another basketball day. Chat with the President, then CarbBoy's match. Clearly that boy needs a few more bumps on the head - he set off like there was a fire under him: first points on the board, gave away a couple of fouls (he is never usually that bold - I know fouls are not great, but the only way to do none is to never tackle) and was all round a star player.
After, we watched the second team match, for political reasons - there is a big hoohah at the mo about splitting the group so I figured it might be good to have at least one first team family showing support. (And anyway, I love watching sport.)
Later, lots of dinner prep, dinner, and Will and Grace (apparently the theme tune is played at 216 bpm - which is almost too fast to play, I'm told), and now more Game of Thrones.
