Harmony Ensemble celebrate China's national day

The Glasgow folk group The Whistlebinkies were the first Scottish ensemble to tour China (in 1991) and their flute player, composer Eddie McGuire developed his interest in Chinese music - collaborating with Scottish based Chinese musicians. The Harmony Ensemble resulted in 2004 and here we see this group, when they were invited to perform for China's national day celebration in Edinburgh, with vocalist Fong Liu. They continue the link with The Whistlebinkies bringing Scottish and Chinese music together.
