Alpenglow

We were returning from a day in Portland and Vancouver just as the sun was setting. To take this shot I was standing on the bridge to Sauvie Island. All the mountains were just magnificent, even the tip(s) of Mt. Rainier were clearly visible. 
Our day included a photography class for Sony owners, then a bittersweet memorial service for a friend. Sad that she is gone, relieved that she is no longer in pain, and so thankful for Jesus being the door to eternal life! We will meet again.
