Buttermere Pines

Another stunning day, and we headed for Buttermere.  It's possibly my favourite of the lake district valleys, and we were treated to beautiful reflections for most of the day.

Extras are a sunrise over Skiddaw (taken through the bedroom window), patterns in the ice on the path and the spindly Buttermere birch tree.
