Artistic License

My friend and neighbor celebrated a milestone birthday this week and one of the celebrations included a get together at a local art studio for 12 of her friends, followed by a a belly dance lesson at one of the friends house and a "potluck" dinner and for some, a sleepover.  I left before the sleep over, but we had great fun, there was even a belly dance lesson.  Sue has a way of getting a good group of people together, a group that have some similar interests and some very different, but always interesting.  The art project involved finding your "spirit animal"  ahead of time and creating this textured collage with the artists supplies and a very little instruction.  Really a lovely celebration.
