Downstream Severn Way

We lived near the source of the Severn Way at its source in Mid Wales and now we live quite close to where it enter the Severn Estuary close to Bristol.

Today with family we walked a short circular walk and along the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal . It was described by Clare Balding as this forgotten atmospheric and scenic part of Britain with some extraordinary sights including this, a ships graveyard. It contains over 100 ships sunk to prevent erosion on the Banks of the Canal being threatened by the tidal river.
